After being closed for over a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Capital Hotel reopens with Capital Bar & Grill on Mondays. May 17. One eleven (formerly Ashley’s), the bistro across the lobby from the bar, will not open at this time.

In early April, Max Brantley reported that Concord hotel companies, a hotel developer, owner and management group, was advertising hotel vacancies from general manager, including executive chef, bartender and other key jobs.

A member of the Arkansas Times the staff was passing by yesterday and was invited to come in and met the new general manager, Terry Bechtold. Bechtold previously ran a hotel in Louisville. We are awaiting a callback from the hotel spokesperson. Here is the information to reopen the hotel’s website:
