The partnership will also strengthen TVS Motor’s strategic business alliance with PETRONAS Lubricants International to develop the PETRONAS TVS TRU4 RacePro – a co-branded oil that will be available to consumers on the high street across India in May 2022. TVS Racing was “pivotal” in engineering the company’s TVS Apache series which “redefined the sports segment with a focus on racing performance,” the company said, adding that the TVS Apache and TVS NTORQ 125 are the “fastest growing brands in their segments”.

Downstream PETRONAS Executive Vice President and General Manager Datuk Sazali Hamzah said the company continues to move up the value chain in India and the deal with TVS “seals a stronger partnership with one of the leading OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) India’s most respected”. The team will wear a new livery from this season. PETRONAS will also supply its high performance engine oil, PETRONAS Sprinta, for the team’s road racing, supercross and rally formats at events such as Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship, Indian National Supercross Championship and the Indian National Rally Championship.
