Halloween may be months away, but the doors to one of Teesside’s most popular Halloween attractions are opening early for job seekers.

Over 100 roles are on offer at Scream Factory, the Redcar-based spooky experience that specializes in spooky and thrilling punters every Halloween.

Teessiders will know that the experience, based in Kirkleatham, involves specially created sets, a horribly spooky cast of actors and a supporting cast of stewards, bar staff and crew in supporting roles that make famous festival of fear what it is.

The company behind it has already started selling tickets for Scream Factory’s Fall 2022 offering and has now announced a recruiting open house on May 15 to recruit staff. It will take place at the Kirkleatham site at 11 a.m. and will be a walk-in session for anyone wanting to learn more.

The team is looking for a cast of 100 actors as well as staff in supporting roles. No prior experience is necessary.

“At Scream Factory, a lot of what we do is based on the team around us. Each year, we hire over 100 spooky actors to join us, receive training and participate in our event,” said a doorman. -word of Scream Factory.

“New for 2022, we are hosting an Open House on May 15, 2022 at 11am. The Open House will be held in the Final Village located at Scream Factory (this is where guests go before and after their visit.) C “is an ideal opportunity for anyone who might be interested in becoming part of our support team. You will also have the chance to meet our team in a relaxed atmosphere to answer any questions you may have.”

Fans will know that the experience takes punters through a series of themed and haunted sites that promise memories that will haunt them forever. Up to 100 live actors are on set, dressed head to toe, in makeup and in costume, and you walk around the site. There are extreme tours for the more daring as well as twilight tours for the kids with Halloween treats and the chance to meet spooky and charming characters. There’s an After Shock Bar and an End Village with food and drinks too.
